TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Promoter
This competition is conducted by Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park,
located at 522 Pinjarra Road, Furnissdale WA 6209.
2. Competition Overview
The PAWsome Camping Companions Photo Competition celebrates our four legged camping companions and the fun, laughter and memorable moments they bring to caravan and camping holidays.
Participants are invited to share a photograph of their dog enjoying a camping or caravanning adventure, together with their dog's name and a short description of what makes them a fabulous camping companion.
3. Competition Period
Entries open when the official competition post is published on Saturday 10 October 2026.
Entries close at 6.00 pm AWST on Monday 19 October 2026.
Six finalists will be announced on Wednesday 21 October 2026.
Public voting will commence when the finalists are announced and close at 6.00 pm AWST on Sunday 25 October 2026.
The winner will be announced on Monday 26 October 2026 through the official Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park Facebook page.
4. Eligibility
Entry is open to Western Australian residents aged 18 years or older.
Employees, their immediate family members and businesses directly associated with administering this promotion are not eligible to win.
Entrants do not need to have previously stayed at Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park.
5. How to Enter
To enter, eligible participants must:

Comment on the original competition post on the official Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park Facebook page.

Upload a photograph of their dog enjoying a camping or caravanning adventure.
-
Include their dog's name and a short description of what makes them a fabulous camping companion.
Participants are encouraged to follow the Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park Facebook page to stay informed about the competition and finalist announcements.
Participants may share the competition post or tag friends; however, this is optional and is not a condition of entry.
One entry per dog is permitted. Entrants with multiple dogs may submit a separate entry for each dog.
Photographs must be original, appropriate and submitted by the photograph's owner or with the owner's permission.
6. Finalist Selection
This competition incorporates an initial judging stage followed by public voting.
Following the closing date, the Promoter will select six finalists based on:

Creativity and originality of the photograph.

Humour, personality and entertainment value.
-
Relevance to the camping and caravanning theme.
-
Overall appeal and how well the photograph captures the spirit of camping with dogs.
The six finalists will be announced on the official Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park Facebook page on Wednesday 21 October 2026.
The Promoter's decision regarding the selection of finalists will be final.
7. Public Voting and Winner Selection
Following the selection of six finalists, Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park will publish an official finalist voting post on its Facebook page on Wednesday 21 October 2026.
The six finalist photographs will be individually numbered and published as separate comments beneath the official finalist voting post.
How to Vote
To vote, participants must:

Visit the official PAWsome Camping Companions finalist voting post on the Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park Facebook page.

View the six finalist photographs displayed individually in the comments.
-
React to the photograph of their favourite camping companion by selecting any available Facebook reaction, such as Like or Love.
Each eligible Facebook account may cast one vote for one finalist only.
Only reactions placed directly on the six official finalist photograph comments will be counted as valid votes.
Reactions to the main competition post, shares, general comments or photographs posted elsewhere will not count towards the final result.
Voting Period
Voting opens on Wednesday 21 October 2026 when the official finalist voting post is published.
Voting closes at 6.00 pm AWST on Sunday 25 October 2026.
Reactions received after the closing time will not be counted.
Determining the Winner
The finalist receiving the highest number of valid Facebook reactions on their official finalist photograph comment at the close of voting will be declared the winner.
Where a Facebook account reacts to more than one finalist photograph, all votes from that account may be deemed invalid.
In the event of a tie, the Promoter will determine the winner based on the original judging criteria outlined in Section 6.
The Promoter reserves the right to disregard votes reasonably identified as fraudulent, automated, duplicated or manipulated.
The Promoter's decision regarding voting validity and the final result will be final.
The winner will be announced on Monday 26 October 2026 through the official Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park Facebook page.
8. Prize Details
The total prize package is valued at $200.00 and includes:

Two nights' accommodation on a powered caravan or camping site at Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park.

A special Doggy Welcome Gift Basket.
The accommodation prize is valid for:
-
A maximum of four people.
-
A maximum of two dogs.
-
One caravan or camping site for two consecutive nights.
The prize does not include accommodation in cabins or other built accommodation.
The winner must supply their own caravan, camper trailer, motorhome or tent.
The prize and its individual components are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
Any additional guests, pets, upgrades, optional extras, incidental charges, travel expenses or extended stays will be at the winner's expense, subject to park approval.
9. Accommodation Conditions
The accommodation prize:

Is valid for 12 months from the winner's announcement on 26 October 2026, expiring on 26 October 2027.

Must be booked directly with Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park.
-
Is subject to availability at the time of booking. Bookings are essential.
-
Is valid for caravan or camping sites only.
-
Is subject to the park's standard pet policies, booking conditions and park rules.
-
Is not transferable or redeemable for cash.
-
Requires the winner to supply their own caravan, camper trailer, motorhome or tent.
-
Is subject to site allocation at the discretion of Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park.
The prize may be subject to blackout periods during school holidays, public holiday weekends, peak periods and special events, at the Promoter's discretion.
All dogs must comply with the park's pet policies, including supervision, behaviour, restraint and cleaning requirements.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse accommodation to any dog that does not comply with the park's pet policies.
10. Winner Verification and Booking Requirements
Valid photo identification may be required when claiming the prize and at the time of booking or check in.
The name on the accommodation booking must match the name of the officially announced winner.
All bookings must comply with the park's standard booking procedures and conditions.
11. Winner Notification
The winner will be announced on Monday 26 October 2026 through the official Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park Facebook page.
The winner will also be contacted through Facebook where possible.
The winner must respond within 48 hours of being notified.
If the winner does not respond within this period, cannot be contacted, is unable to accept the prize or does not satisfy these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter may award the prize to the next highest ranked eligible finalist.
By entering, participants acknowledge that their name, dog's name and submitted photograph may be published if selected as a finalist or winner.
12. Photograph Ownership and Permission
By submitting a photograph, entrants confirm that:

They own the photograph or have permission from the copyright owner to submit it.

They have permission to photograph and feature the dog.
-
The photograph does not infringe the rights of another person.
-
Any identifiable people appearing in the photograph have consented to its submission and publication.
Entrants retain ownership of their photographs.
By entering, participants grant Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park a nonexclusive, royalty free licence to reproduce and publish their submitted photograph for the purposes of administering, promoting and reporting on this competition, including finalist announcements, winner announcements and related social media content.
Photographs will not be sold to third parties.
13. Social Media Disclaimer
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
By entering, participants acknowledge that they are providing their information to Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park and not to Facebook or Instagram.
Participants release Facebook and Instagram from any responsibility or liability associated with this competition.
14. Privacy and Scam Warning
Personal information collected in connection with this competition will only be used to administer the competition, verify eligibility, contact finalists and the winner, and arrange redemption of the prize.
Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park will never request payment, banking information, passwords or other sensitive personal information as a condition of entering or claiming the prize.
Participants should be aware of fraudulent accounts or messages impersonating our business.
The official winner announcement will only be made through the official Mandurah Caravan & Tourist Park Facebook page.
15. General Conditions
The Promoter reserves the right to:

Verify the validity and eligibility of entries.

Disqualify entrants who submit inappropriate, offensive, misleading, copied or fraudulent content.

Remove entries that breach these Terms and Conditions or Facebook's community standards.

Disregard fraudulent, automated or manipulated votes.

Substitute a prize component with another item of equal or greater value if the advertised component becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.

Amend, suspend or cancel the competition where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control, subject to applicable legal requirements.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, lost or not received due to technical issues or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
By entering this competition, participants confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
